{"id":7463,"date":"2013-02-28T18:09:36","date_gmt":"2013-02-28T16:09:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/robheijkooptrading.com\/known-consignor-status-2\/"},"modified":"2014-09-23T09:27:23","modified_gmt":"2014-09-23T07:27:23","slug":"known-consignor-status","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.robheijkooptrading.com\/it\/known-consignor-status\/","title":{"rendered":"Known consignor status"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ROB HEIJKOOP TRADING granted \u201cknown consigner\u201d status.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The European regulations (EU Reg.300\/2008 &amp; EU Reg.185\/2010) regarding air freight security standards come into full effect 29<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0April 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Any company that did not receive approval prior to that date will be classed as a consignor of\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">unsecured<\/span>\u00a0freight.<\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to inform you however, that\u00a0<strong>ROB HEIJKOOP TRADING<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>has been granted \u201cknown consignor\u201d status\u00a0<\/strong>under these regulations with reference number\u00a0<strong>NL\/KC\/00424-00\/0218\u00a0<\/strong>in the \u201cEU database of regulated agents and known consignors\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Under the EU Regulations, air cargo security can only be achieved by permitting \u201csecured\u201d freight on board the aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>This is achieved if freight consignments are checked before being loaded onto the aircraft or if a secure supply chain is observed.\u00a0<strong>If there is no approved secure supply chain a mandatory security check will be required.\u00a0<\/strong>This may well effect the transit time of air freight export shipments and generate extra charges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By achieving \u201cknown consignor\u201d status ROB HEIJKOOP TRADING is certified as part of the secure supply chain. In addition our appointed forwarder are regulated agents able to arrange airfreight, sea freight or courier service within the secure supply chain. Therefore our deliveries have the status \u201csecured\u201d freight and by using them you will save time and money.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note, if you wish us to use your forwarding agents please make sure that they are also regulated agents otherwise the freight will be considered as \u201cunsecured\u201d and a security check will be necessary which may impact on delivery time and cost. All of this is outside ROB HEIJKOOP TRADING\u2019s control. You will face the same situation if you pick-up your goods from our warehouse.
